I got amazing value for my money, with a spacious and comfortable room that made my stay enjoyable. The location was perfect, just a short walk from shopping and attractions, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast selection could use a few more fresh fruit options.

I recently stayed for one night while exploring the area, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The hotel is conveniently located near the vibrant Shimotori Shopping Arcade, making it easy to explore local shops and restaurants. The breakfast was a standout, featuring delicious local specialties like fried rice and a wide variety of options. My room was spacious with large windows, a comfortable double bed, and a modern bathroom complete with a bathtub. I also appreciated the complimentary drink during happy hour and friendly staff who provided excellent service.

During my recent week-long stay for a mix of leisure and business, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The spacious rooms and clean bathrooms exceeded typical expectations, allowing two of us to navigate comfortably with our luggage. The complimentary amenities were abundant, including a refreshing happy hour drink each day and a delicious breakfast buffet featuring both local and Western dishes, such as Karashi Renkon. The friendly front desk staff added a personal touch, making us feel welcome. The location, near major transport options and a shopping mall, made exploring easy and enjoyable.
Can just recommend this hotel.

I had a lovely weekend getaway at this hotel! The location is super convenient, close to tons of restaurants and shops, plus easy access to the tram. The breakfast was a highlight for me – so many delicious options! I also appreciated the comfy room with big windows and the cozy pajamas and cute Kumamon water bottles. Kudos to the cleaning staff for keeping everything spotless!
That said, there were a few downsides. The breakfast area felt a bit cramped, and I found the coffee to be not the best, a little bitter, too. the bed could use some improvement; I felt every movement from my partner, which made it tough to get a good night's sleep. it was a solid stay, knowing there’s room for improvement!

I was put in a room with my kids, and let me tell you, squeezing into one double bed was just ridiculous. We asked for extra bedding but got nowhere.

Great value for money, convenient location close to public transportation and local attractions. the room amenities including towels, pajamas and slippers were a pleasant surprise. the free tea and coffee were a welcome addition.
The breakfast left much to be desired, although it was free. there was an issue with the room cleaning service as the cleaner failed to adhere to the "Do Not Disturb" sign and left the door unlocked, risking the security of valuable items left in the room.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, with easy access to transportation and various dining options. the rooms, though small, are cosy and equipped with both indoor and outdoor onsen. Staff are helpful and provide amenities such as kid slippers and plastic gloves for the buffet breakfast with a large variety of selection.
While the staff are friendly, some may not respect the “do not disturb” sign on the door.

I had a great stay at a hotel located in Kumamoto's downtown area. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, shops, and attractions like Kumamoto castle. The bed was comfy and I enjoyed the amenities provided. I would recommend this hotel for its great location and comfortable accommodations.
That the view from my room was obstructed by a nearby building, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the breakfast provided was not up to par and could be improved.
